I got a part in the play!

I got a part in the play! I got a narrator! Narrator 4! I think I got that character because I used my hands [that is very important] and got into character [ very important also]. So remember those are very important for being in theatre!

Cartoons!

When a person is making a cartoon they are still acting, you don't have to be vizable to act! Actor sometimes move around to make noise a person would really make when someone is doing that event. Usually, in cartoons, that draw or make a things you wouldn't find in real life. But, yet, some movies make 3D effects for example in The Lord Of The Rings, there is really no such thing as talking trees. Now you know about cartoons!

Begin with an audition!

Yesterday I audition for Jasmine for my school's production of Aladdin Jr. and I wrote so much down for my experience list it almost fill up the whole part of the paper! And I still didn't have all of them! While I was auditioning I started using my hand and started getting into character. Getting into character mean to act alike or be more comfortable with. I started acting like her with my voice. Jasmine is independent so I made my voice sound independent. This may seem boring but voice and getting into character can make you a better actor and you can have a better audition!

What is it like!

When you audition for a play or musical, you can make new friends. It's awesome when you participate because you can meet really nice people, mostly the people that are in most of the scenes your in. My sister, Hope has been in a lot of plays like Missoula Children Theatre's ' The Jungle Book', MCT's ' Wiz of the west', Theatre Knoxville downtown's 'Come back down to the 5 and dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean'. In ' Come back to the 5 and dime' Hope plays Young Mona and everyday I hear really funny thing that happen at her practice. I must say Hope is a great actress and great sister! And I can't wait to see the play. I'll write later, Bye!
